Crocker Nuclear Laboratory is located in Jungerman Hall on the main UC Davis campus about a quarter mile northwest of the Mondavi Center. The visitor entrance is on the building’s north side.

When you arrive, please check in with the receptionist at the front desk in the lobby. Visitors who will be entering any authorized control areas in the lab will be issued a dosimeter. Like a name badge, it can be clipped to a collar or pocket. Upon leaving, please return it to the receptionist. (Dosimeters are not required for eye therapy patients and accompanying family members.)

Parking

Eye therapy patients & non-UCD users of the cyclotron

Eye therapy patients and non-UC users of the cyclotron may park in one of the four designated parking spaces along the back wall (south side) of Jungerman Hall. After parking your vehicle, please walk around the building to the front lobby and check in with the receptionist. You will be issued a parking pass that must be placed on the dashboard of your vehicle.

These parking spaces are for eye therapy patients and non-UCD cyclotron users only. If you do not have a pass to park in these spaces, you will be ticketed.

Daily visitor parking permits

All other visitors to Jungerman Hall will need a valid UCD parking permit to park on campus. Daily visitor permits are available for $10.00 and may be purchased from dispensing machines located in visitor parking lots. Machines accept cash or credit cards.

Visitor permits are valid for the date purchased and are honored Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Permits should be displayed on the driver's side dashboard of the vehicle.

Parking lots

The two visitor parking lots closest to Jungerman Hall are:

Visitor Parking 47 (VP 47) —about a 400-yard walk to the lobby at Jungerman Hall.

Purchase your visitor parking permit from one of the dispensing machines scattered throughout the lot. Park in any parking space except those marked with special restrictions. Parking in the northeast quadrant of this lot will put you closer to Jungerman Hall.

South Entry Parking Structure (adjacent to the Mondavi Center)—about a 600-yard walk to the lobby at Jungerman Hall. Purchase your visitor parking permit from the machine at the entrance to the structure. Park only in areas designated for visitor parking.

Parking meters

Parking meters can be found in various lots and on some campus streets. They require coins for payment. Parking is allowed for any motor vehicle, not to exceed the length of time posted for the area. Meter feeding is prohibited; vehicles must be moved when the maximum time has elapsed.
